She was predeceased by: her spouse J. W. Lawson; her parents, Lloyd Richards and Mae Keller Richards; and her siblings, John E. Richards, E. J. Richards, Charles Richards, Betty Hooks and Katie Hammett.
She is survived by: her son Steve Lawson (Cassandra) of Gaffney; her brother Fred Richard (Millie) of Gaffney; and her grandchildren, Stephanie Baughman, Christopher Lawson and Jason Lawson.
