It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Max Mintz (Gaffney, South Carolina), born in Blacksburg, South Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herschel F. Mintz and Bonita Wood Mintz; his daughter Jeannie Wilkins; and his siblings, Billy Mintz, Joe Mintz, Jack Mintz, Bertha Smith and Mahala Bledsoe.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sarratt Mintz; his daughter Sheila Darden (Charlie) of Charlotte, NC; and his siblings, Sam Mintz (Patty) of Gastonia, NC and Patricia Mintz of Gaffney.
