He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleve Medley and Ila Reynolds Medley; his daughter Sybil Renea Medley; and his siblings, William Medley, Ralph Medley, Dolphus Medley, Lula Gathings, Mary Bell Murray, Pauline Porter, Lois Mullinax and Eunice Medley.
He is survived by: his wife Jolene Earnhardt Medley; his children, Thomas "Tommy" Earl Medley, Jr. of Gaffney and Tammy Medley Elder (Bobby) of Gaffney; his siblings, Lee Medley (Velma) of Gaffney, Frances Childers of Gaffney and Julia Swanger of Gaffney; his grandson Jackie Thomas Stanford (Leslie); and his great grandchildren, Jaden Stanford and Hunter Stanford.
