He is survived by: his spouse Karen Mendez; his parent Jose Mendez of Sugar Hill, GA; his children, Jason Mendez (Melissa) of Sugar Hill, GA, Joshua Mendez of Rome, GA and Mercedes Mendez of Picayune, MS; his sisters, Lu Post (Mickey) of Johns Creek, GA and Joli Perry of Rome, GA; and his grandchildren, Calvin Mendez, Alexia Mendez and Haley Mendez.
