He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Parris and Emma Sentell Parris; and his sister Kay Parker. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Grant Parris; his sons, Chris Parris (Darla) of Gaffney and Shane Parris (Heather) of Gaffney; his siblings, Ben Parris (Doris) of Gaffney and Judy Lanier of Blacksburg; his grandchildren, Jonathan Parris (Niki), Kristin Pulido (Jorge), Jackson Parris and Dawson Parris; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Wyatt and Bruno.
