It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Phillips of Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Lattimore and Addie Lee Lattimore; and her brothers, Robert Lee Lattimore and Stephen Lattimore. She is survived by: her children, Cassandra Rainey, Regina Dawkins, Sylvia Lane, Cynthia McDowdle, Shelton Phillips, Timothy Phillips (Cynthia), Tyrone Phillips, Jarion Lattimore and Shedrick Littlejohn; her siblings, Josephine Petty, Rachel Livsey, Bernestine Dawkins, Barbara Lattimore, Julia Johnson, Cassandra Lattimore, William Lattimore, Edward Lattimore, Jimmy Hardy, CJ Lattimore and Jarvis Hopper; her aunt Louise Littlejohn; and her grandchildren, Lakendra Rainey, Timisha Dawkins, Tamika Humphries, Timothy Dawkins Jr. (Rock) and Tamerio Phillips. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
