He was predeceased by: his mother Florence Pauline Sullivan Wicks; his son-in-law Mike Cole; and his siblings, Tommy, Edward, Ronnie, Donnie and Diane.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wicks; his children, Daniel Wicks (Crystal) of Gaffney, April Cole of Gaffney and Melissa Marks (Keith) of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Leah (Tyler), Matthew, Josh, Dillon (Amber), David (Lindsay), Angel, Noah (Maria), Hannah and Chloe.
