We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2020, at the age of 89, Walter Pearson (Gaffney, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Ruth Blanton Pearson; and his parents, James William Pearson and Polly Eva Spencer Pearson. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Dean Pearson, Sr. (Kay) of Gaffney, Jimmy Pearson (Leslie) of Gaffney, Billy Ray Pearson (Susie) of Gaffney and Margie Elaine Webb; his sisters, Betty Messer of Gaffney and Millie Jolley (Pete) of Gaffney; and his grandchildren, Shelly Sherill (Todd), Walter Bright, Ricky Pearson, Jr. (Jeannie), Michael Pearson (Alyson), Billy Anthony (Michelle), Brooke Pearson, Meagan Pearson, Tasha Pearson, Billy Pearson, Jr. (Alicia) and Mary Martin (Frankie). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
