He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Jones Turney; his parents, George O. Turney and Stella Bookout Turney; and his brother Gene Turney. He is survived by: his children, Ricky Turney (Sandy) of Gaffney, Kenny Turney (Barbara) of Gaffney and Sharon "Sissy" Poole (Brett) of Gaffney; his brother Clyde Turney of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Kristen Turney (Matt Duckett) and Kalee Martin; and his great grandchild Jake Duckett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
