He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Bell Medley Murray; and his parents, Dexter Henry Murray and Blanch Harrison Murray. He is survived by: his children, William Murray, Jr. of Gaffney, Janice Blanton of Gaffney and Carolyn Caldwell (Bob Moore) of Enoree; his brother James Murray of Spartanburg; and his grandchildren, Kristie Murray (Tom), Alan Wyatt, Renae Blanton (Dennis), Veronica George (Jerry), Melissa Swanger (Mitchell), Melanie Coleman (Brett) and Holly Guthrie. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
