He was predeceased by: his father Charles L. Sheaffer, Sr.; his wife Adah "Lee" Sheaffer; his mother Jewel Velma Sheaffer; and his brother Eddie Sheaffer. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Shaffer (Cheryl) and Jackie Ellis (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
