She was predeceased by: her parents, Carval Shockley and Laura Shockley; and her husband Hugo D. Sturkie, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Angel May (Tommy), Cheryl Atkins (Danny) and Hugo Sturkie, Jr. (Sharon); her grandchildren, Laura Fort (Bobby), Chrissy Mack (Daniel), Kevin Atkins (Kerry), Chris Sturkie and Tiffany Anderson (Matt); and her siblings, Victoria Risser (Earl), Betty Johns and William Shockley. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
