It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Trotter Byrd (Gaston, South Carolina), born in Habersham, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, G. W. Trotter and Annie Pardue Trotter.

Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Park Street UMC or to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
