It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Brandon Towery (Gaston, South Carolina), who passed away on July 15, 2018, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James C. Towery and Scates. He is survived by: his parents, James "Ed" and Dorothy "Dottie" Scates Towery; and his grandmother Frances W. Towery. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Residential Services, Hartness Fund, 905 N New Hope Rd # A, Gastonia, NC 28054, or to Maylo United Methodist Church, Van Fund, 1900 Spencer Mountain Rd, Ranlo, NC 28054.
