He is survived by: his wife Mary Agnes Defee; his children, James Allen Defee of West Columbia and Megan Defee of Florida; his stepchildren, J. Baughman, Gaston, Donna Renew of Gilbert and Mary Ellen Knight of West Columbia; his grandchildren, Alexia Baughman, Sean Knight and Austin Thomas; and his siblings, Todd Defee and Krystal Hoover of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
