We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2018, at the age of 77, Otha Watts (Gaston, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Otha Tyrone "O. T. Watts, 77, went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2018. Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the memorial service celebrating his life at 4 p.m. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church at 310 Gator Road, Gaston, SC 29053. Mr. Watts served in Law Enforcement for Lexington County for over 20 years, and retired as Chief of Police for the town of Pine Ridge. He was also a United States Navy Veteran. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt track racing, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, June Richbourg Watts, children, Lisa Watts Ragsdale (Robert) and Bobby Watts (Donna), and grandchildren, Brooke, Brice, Monica, and Dalton.
