He is survived by: his son Builders; his parents, Sonny Sturkie and Velma "Bootsie" Spradley; his grandparents, Lizzie Mae, Norris Spradley and Maydell Sharpe Copeland; his wife Denise Decaria Sturkie; his daughters, Misti Sturkie Raman and Cristen Sturkie; his grandchildren, Lexi Raman and Jimmy Raman; his stepdaughter Michelle Hiler (Bill); his stepgrandchildren, Adam Decaria and Olivia Hiler; and his siblings, Beverly "Susie" Cooper, Brenda Jeffcoat, Johnny Sturkie, Shannon Sturkie and Jacy Sturkie.
