He is survived by: his significant other Carol Lee Furtick; his daughters, Tammy Lynn Dawson of Lexington and Lisa Marie; his son-in-law Tim Gillespie of Swansea; his son Thomas William (Tommy); his daughter-in-law Cindy Furtick of Gaston; his stepson Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Nicole Murphy of Swansea; his grandchildren, Ray Steele, Curtis Steele, Justin Jeffcoat (Kayla), Austin Crosby, Kala Dooley (Jake), Savannah Furtick and Emily Furtick; and his brother Joseph Furtick of Gaston. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren and 36 step-great-grandchildren.
