She was predeceased by : her parents, Frederick Gardner and Charlotte Gardner (Frisbie); her son Peter; the mother of her children Evelyn DiVenere of Georgetown; her brothers, Frederick Mitchell Gardner and Frederick Hunt Gardner Jr.; and her grandmother Anie.

She is survived by : her son Adam Mitchell DiVenere; and her sister Charlotte Palmer of Florida.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 at 3:00 PM at the All Saints Church (3560 Kings River Rd, Pawleys Island, SC 29585).
