She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lamar Downey and Vera Fulmer Downey; and her grandmother D. Ard. She is survived by: her sons, David L. Parks, Jr. and Kevin L. Parks (Laura) of Murrells Inlet, SC; and her grandchildren, Matthew L. Parks (Julianna) of Goose Creek, SC and Megan E. Parks of Murrells Inlet, SC. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Coastal Animal Rescue, 1288 Limestone St., Murrells Inlet, SC 29576; or the General Fund of Screven Baptist Church, 2221 South Island Road, Georgetown, SC 29440.
