He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Anderson and Minnie Lambert Anderson; his son Benjamin Franklin Anderson, Jr.; and his siblings, Bertha Altman Owens, Mary Parker, Edward Anderson, William Anderson, Jackie Anderson and Harry Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Barnhill Anderson; his children, Pamela Anderson Cox (JR) of Loris, SC and L. Wayne Anderson (Tammy) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his grandchildren, Ciara McKnight (Jared) of Baton Rouge, LA, Justin R. Cox of Loris, SC, Kyle A. Cox (Bridget), Myrtle Beach, Mikala Anderson and Makenzie Anderson of Mount Pleasant; and his great grandchildren, Cherry McKnight, J. B. McKnight and Isaac McKnight. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
