She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Player and Bonnie Mae McConnell; and her siblings, Donald Allen Player, James Ike Player, Zeno L. McConnell and Lydia Jane Player.
She is survived by: her son Weldon "Bruce" Poston; her aunt Lucille McConnell Chadwick; her children, W. Brian Poston of Bowling Green, KY, Stacey W. Poston of Florence and Derek Poston (Carrie) of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Taylor Belle Nesbitt, Rion Gage Newton, Braylin Reed Poston, Courtney McConnell, Caroline Craft (Jason), Sonny Bree Chavis, Eddie Creel, Isaiah Poston and Dominik Poston; her great grandchildren, Blakely McConnell, Addison McConnell, Paisley Creel and Archie Craft; her siblings, John Callie Player (Barbara), Robert "Bobby" Mixon (Helena), Joyce McCrea and Gloria Martin (Will); and her sisters-in-law, Shirley McConnell, Gaynell Bouchette (Wayne) and Melvie Poston. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and her four fur babies.
