She was predeceased by: her husband Roger Glenn Owens; her parents, Wilburn Samuel Cox and Effie Mae Stone Cox; her siblings, Linda Cox, Rachel Althea Cox Moree, Wilburn Esters Cox, Barbara Cox Calcutt and Samuel Walton Cox; and her son-in-law Jimmy Coker.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Owens (Dee) of Hemingway, Maria Owens Coker of Hemingway, Dale Owens of Decatur, AL and Wanda Owens Thompson (Anthony) of Hemingway; and her siblings, Rebecca Evans (Sambo) of Lake City, Reverend Jerry Cox (Betty) of Andrews, Katherine Venters of Hemingway and Lillian McLaughlin (Hank) of Timmonsville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
