We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Dean Strickland Sr. (Georgetown, South Carolina), born in Beaver Falls, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Patricia Mallard Strickland; his parents, Edmund Collier Strickland and Freda Parker Strickland; his children, Dean Strickland, Jr. (Debbie) of Florence and Mary Lou Garnett (Bill) of Travelers Rest; his stepdaughters, Amanda Glenn Payne of Georgetown and Shann Jo Mason (Kevin) of Murrells Inlet; and his sister Lynette Skinner of Lyon, NY. He was also cherished by three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Strickland was predeceased by a brother, Edmund C. Strickland, Jr. Due to a concern for public health amid the COVID-19 pandemic, a public celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
