He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann Baxley James; his sons, Edward Shawn James, Jr. (Melissa) of Georgetown and Garrett Carlton James (Maribel) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Anna James, Pierce James, Gavin Joseph James and Garrison Edward James; and his siblings, Beth McKenzie (Bobby) of Middleburg, FL, Sonya James of Andrews and Irmo. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
