It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esquire W. Sherwyn Jacobs of Georgetown, South Carolina, born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George S. Jacobs and Mary Abrams Jacobs. He is survived by: his siblings, Dairen Jacobs (Linda), Louie Jacobs (Rose), Kay Jacobs Spires (David) and Donna Jacobs Jacobs (Bill); and his siblings' children, Jessamyn Jacobs (Stuart Johnson), Adrian Jacobs, Nathan Jacobs, Sharon Woodward, Jami Messenger (Karson), Matthew Spires (Megan), Victoria Broughton (Brentley), Steven Jacobs (Kelly) and Paul Jacobs (Elessa). He is also survived by 14 great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Mr. Jacobs may be made to Rose Hill Baptist Church, 4572 Rose Hill Rd., Georgetown, SC 29440.
