It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hollis Dale Cromartie Jr. (Georgetown, South Carolina), born in Conway, South Carolina, who passed away on May 11, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Dale Cromartie, Sr. and Lillian Brockinton Skinner Cromartie; and his sister Lillian Cromartie Hendrickson. He is survived by: his daughters, Julie C. Porter (Rob) of Mt. Pleasant, Robin C. Ackary of Charleston and Beth C. Burton (John) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Chelsea King Milford (Brad), Amanda Ackary Bolatete (Isaiah), Christopher John Burton (Annie), Matthew Burton and William Brockinton King; his great grandchildren, Jackson Dean Bolatete, Andrew James Milford and Hollis Samuel Milford; and his brother James Bradley Cromartie (Alice) of Georgetown. He is also survived by nine nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to: Screven Baptist Church, 2221 S Island Rd, Georgetown, SC or to the charity of ones choice.
