It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kristen Marguerite Cantey of Georgetown, South Carolina, born in Hemingway, South Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Gordon Cantey, Sr. and Marguerite Mae Richardson Cantey; and her sister-in-law Judy Graham Cantey. She is survived by: her son Clay Cantey (Leslie); her grandchildren, Caroline, Madison and Bryson; and her siblings, Eugenia "Gena" Miller (Ronnie), Percy Cantey (Irene), Stephen Eugene "Gene" Cantey (Pam), Jesse Gordon "Don" Cantey, Jr. (Virginia) and John Floyd Cantey (Marie). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
