We are sad to announce that on October 20, 2021, at the age of 89, Lenora Walters (Georgetown, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucious Rutherford Freeman and Retha McCants Freeman; and her siblings, Otis Freeman, Barbara Weaver, Darwin Freeman, Lavern Freeman and Lorin Freeman.

She is survived by: her son Samuel Aventer "Sammy" Walters, Jr. (Jackie); her grandchildren, Lindsey D. Walters-Battle (Kirk), Dr. Laura E. Walters and Michael Walters "Walt" Battle; and her siblings, Frankie Hampton and Donald "Don" Freeman (Frances). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
