It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn DeWitt Altman (Georgetown, South Carolina), born in Pamplico, South Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Luther Lenair Altman; her parents, Cordie Whitehart DeWitt and Lenora Amanda James Huggins; and her sisters, Sybil Bennett and Nora Jean Cates.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda A. Bornman (Joe) of Myrtle Beach; her grandson Jerrod Bornman (Denise) of Myrtle Beach; her great grandchild Jace Bornman; her caregivers, Bertha and Bim Surratt of Georgetown; her brother-in-law Johnny Cates of Dallas, TX; and her nieces, Charlotte Moore of Georgetown, Mandy Pegram of Murrells Inlet, Candy O'Neill of Dallas, TX and Cathy Peinado of Aubrey, TX..
