She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jenkins Hucks Caines, Jr. and Jannie Veona Rourk Caines; and her siblings, Joseph Jenkins Hucks Caines, III, Harrell Bell Caines, Carol Jean Caines Payton (Daniel), William "Billy" Hucks Caines and Roy Brooks Caines.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie L. Holmes, Scott Wendell Holmes and Wendy Loraine H. Shannon (Bill); her grandchildren, Trace Hunter Shannon and Noah Neethi Shannon; her brother Jerry Wayne Caines; and also, Beverly Britt (Doug) and Peggy Goins (Tony). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
