He is survived by: his wife Darnell Cox Owens of Hemingway; his children, Kevin Owens (Dee) of Hemingway, Maria Owens Coker of Hemingway, Dale Owens of Decatur, AL and Wanda Owens Thompson (Anthony) of Hemingway; and his siblings, Cortez Owens (Martha) of Hemingway, Suzanne Pope (Johnny) of Hemingway, Vickie Zurcher (Randy) of Hemingway and Keith Owens (Cindy) of Hemingway. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
