She was predeceased by : her parents, Floyd Morgan Baker, Sr. and Christine Lambert Baker; her husband Bennett Laverne Gibson; her son Tracey Gibson; her great grandchild Payton Gaskins; and her siblings, Katheryn Flegal and Floyd Baker, Jr..

She is survived by : her granddaughter Candice Gaskins; her great grandchild Morgan Gaskins; and her brothers, Bobby Baker of Oregon and Dennis Baker (Cheryl) of Georgetown. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
