He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Clifford Jacobs and Margie Powers Jacobs; and his brother Roy Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Mobley Jacobs; his children, Melissa Jacobs of Georgetown, Amy Jacobs Vargas (Junior) of Georgetown and Lavern Jacobs, Jr. (Debbie) of Georgetown; his grandchildren, Dustin Dickerson, Cody Medina (Sarah), Tripp Jacobs, Brooke Dickerson, Savannah Velasco, Damian Vargas, Hailey Vargas, Alex Vargas and Laila Vargas; his great grandchild Bryce Dickerson; his brother Duwayne Jacobs (Silvia) of Moncks Corner; and his sister-in-law Judy Jacobs of Georgetown.
