He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Walter E. and Mary Byrd Creel Bryant; and his niece Dawn M. Avant (Mark). He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Ellis "Sissy" McAndrew and Hope B. Huggins (John); and his niece Eve M. Badger (Brian). He is also survived by five great nieces and nephews.
