He was predeceased by: his parents, Cully Payne and Ruth Parson Payne; and his brothers, Delburt Payne and Paul Payne. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Grubbs Payne; his children, Dwaine Payne (Melynda), Rodney Payne (Melissa), Danny Tribble (Annette), Tammie Rauch (Steven) and Debra Tribble; his sister Juanita Knida; his grandchildren, Travis Hartley, Kimberly Rauch, Kelly Rauch, Makayla Payne, Morgan Payne, Crystal Gurtisen, Brittney Gurtisen, Becky Tribble and Danny J. Tribble; and his nephew Raymond Greathouse. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
