He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Isaac Thompson and Betty S. Thompson; his wife Robin Hollis Thompson; his children, Hope Ann Ray (Eddie) and Karl Robert Thompson (Angela); his grandchildren, Chase Thompson, Aaron Craven, Bradley Craven, Damian Thompson and Haley Thompson; his great grandchild Chloe Craven; his siblings, Carmen Wages (Lonnie), Steve Thompson (Robbin) and Larry Thompson (Annette); and his siblings-in-law, Cathy Bannister (Steve), Connie Robertson (Henry), Robert W. "Bobby" Hollis IV and James M. "Jim" Hollis. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
