She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Smith and Macie Smith; her daughter Barbara; her sons-in-law, Daniel Rodgers, Jerry Ketcham and Stanley Jones; and her siblings, James Smith, William Smith (Lettie-Mae), Judson Smith (Jewel), Margaret Burnett (Heber) and Betty Burnett (J. C.).
She is survived by: her husband John A. Sease; and her children, Judy Smith, Debbie Sease, Peggy Sease, Connie Sease, Missy McMakin (Ricky) and Barry Sease. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Beulah United Methodist Church in honor of Mary Ellen Sease.
