He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Odell and Brenda Barker Caudle Furtick. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Jumper Taylor; his brother Wesley Dale Caudle (Lynda); and his nephew Christopher Caudle.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Flourish Church.
