He is survived by: his wife Filipina Milan Contreras; his daughters, Mary Joyce Param (Roberto) and Judy Anne Mendoza (Gilberth Nesthy); his grandsons, Ronan Jacob Param of Goose Creek, SC, Isaiah Contreras Mendoza of Goose Creek, SC and Izri Quinn Mendoza of Goose Creek, SC; and his siblings, Eddie Contreras and Lucy Gutierrez. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel (2180 Greenridge Rd, North Charleston, SC 29406). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Plantation Memorial Gardens (3345 S Live Oak Dr, Moncks Corner, SC 29461).
