He is survived by: his children, Douglas O'Shields (Nell) of Inman and Myra Miller of Gramling; his grandchildren, Melody Mullinax of Spartanburg and Jared Miller (Christy) of Inman; his great grandchild Elliot Miller; his brother Ervin O'Shields of Gramling; and his close friend Alsie Page.
