He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Skaggs Jenkins; his children, Dala J. Jenkins of Leander, Steven McDaniel (Kaye) of Kempner, Mary Pat Cleland Yaun (Lloyd) of Graniteville, SC and Vicki Cleland Newman (Danny) of North Augusta, SC; his grandchildren, Craig Newman (Samantha), Chelsea Newman, Lindsey Yaun, Elizabeth Sullivan (Christopher), James Jenkins III (Michelle), Joshua McDaniel and Isaac McDaniel; and his great grandchildren, Marlee, Fiona, Elijah Newman, Austin, Amanda, Maggie Jenkins and Greyson Sullivan.
