She was predeceased by : her parents, James Ben and Myrtle Grice Mills; and her sister Collette Cook. She is survived by : her daughter Dallas Brown (Clay); her granddaughter Shelby Rae Brown; and her siblings, James Gary Mills, Mark Mills (Deborah) and Cynthia Mills Merriett (Bub). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory (315 Main St, Graniteville, SC 29829). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
