He is survived by: his children, Julie Franklin Lott (David) of Vaucluse, SC and James "Jamie" H., Jr. Franklin (Shannon) of North Augusta, SC; his grandchildren, Morgan Franklin Weyer (Michael) and Ryan James Franklin; and his sister Joyce Franklin Johnson of Macclenny, Florida..
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jackson Memorial Funeral Home (315 Main St, Graniteville, SC 29829).
