It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lou Ellen Hall Flanders (Graniteville, South Carolina), born in Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on July 14, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Ray Flanders; her siblings, James T. Hall, Margie Boatright and Mae Jean Chalker; and her parents, James Thomas and Mackie Lou Hartley Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Randall (Fran) of Lincolnton, GA, Lee Randall (Debbie) of Warrenville, SC, Sharon Jones (Robert) of Augusta, GA, Cynthia Stephens (Richard) of Warrenville, SC and Rev. David Flanders (Karen) of Chester, SC; and her brothers, L. T. Hall of Bath, SC and Daniel Hall of Commerce, GA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Considering her love for her church, memorials may be made to Spoken Word Tabernacle.
