She is survived by : her son William A. Rice; her grandchildren, Aaron R. Roberson, Christopher O. Roberson, Glenda Rice and LaToya Whitlock (Vance); her siblings, Rosa Pryor, Dorothy Byrd (Burnell), Emma Dawkins (Henry C.), Rev. Gladys Nance (James) and Roy Byrd (Debra); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Byrd and Lillie Ruth Byrd. She is also survived by five great- grandchildren.
