He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Waddell and Biona Trammell Waddell; his children, Cheryl Starr and Donnie Waddell; and his siblings, Earle, Cortez, Vernon Waddell, Jr. and Margaret Wood.
He is survived by : his wife Velma Jennings Waddell; his children, Luanne Boyter (James Simmons) of Woodruff and Gene Waddell (Arelene) of Cypress, TX; his grandchildren, April Vogt, Stephanie Brown, Thomas Slape and Gabriel Slape; and his great grandchildren, Logan Bishop, Harrison Vogt, Bailey Brown, Harrison Brown, Sasha Rey, Samuel Slape and Audree Slape.
