He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, B. T. Gault of Greer and Hoke B. Black of Greenville. He is survived by: his father Archie; his children, Archibald Wells Black III of Greenville and Cely Anne Black of Greenville; his sister Catherine Black Koysza (David); his nieces, Caroline and Sadie Koysza of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; his aunt Sharon Gault Benston (Gerry); his uncle Hoke B. Black, Jr.; and his cousins, Bill Benston (Janna), Beth Benston Elmore (Gay) and Laura Benston Brockman (Steve).
