He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Quincy Hatfield, Sr. and Ann Letha Turner Hatfield; and his brother Lieutenant David Alexander Hatfield. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Hatfield Lee (Tripp), Asa Quincy "Quin" Hatfield (Angie), Anna Hatfield Reese (Ryan), Alexandra "Alex" Hatfield Driver (Stuart) and David Christian Hatfield (Bailey Duffy); his grandchildren, Eadon, Ragin, Anna, Davis Lee, Acie, Mae Harmon, Knox Hatfield, Jackson, Clark, Hattie, Ruthie Reese and Mary Jennings Driver; and his sisters, Harriet Hatfield Joye and Janet Hatfield Dawson.
