With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Burnell LeRoy Albers of Greenville, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Theadore Albers and Florence Golter Albers; his brothers, Jerry Albers and Denny Albers; and his grandson Bobby Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Albers; his children, Tim Albers (Candy), Ramonia Jowers (Lawson), Cindy Baldwin (Avery) and Lisa Trn (Larry); his sister Beverly Gamar Farley; and his brother-in-law David Gray (Dorthy). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations in Barney's memory to the Wounded Warriors Project, honoring his dedication to service and his unwavering support for fellow veterans.
